Title: Final Fantasy
Post by: Petroid on May 21, 2007, 03:42:16 pm
The Final Fantasy series are pretty much the best RPG series ever. I'll screw CARPENTER if I'm wrong

Agreed. Haven't played much, but they do own quite royally.

The movies also own. FFXI is also a really great online game.

They pretty much own a lot of the current media.

I have played all of about none, and seen one. So my caring is not present.

I agree with Solmu, FFXI was a great game, just way too under appreciated, like CARPENTER.
Only reason I quit was because after I had stopped playing for about 2 months, I could not regain my awesomeness.

Word is, however, that Square Enix is creating a new MMO.

The thing i don't like about final fantasy online, is that you can't really have the ultimate charater. In all the other ones you kinda could. And a phonix down is the only item that you'll need to get a down payment on.

I mean CARPENTER Christ

^yes i knew that would happen^

Well, in an online game, you can't have an ultimate character. It was a fact that the best job was in fact Black Mage, like always. While I played, I did enjoy being a Red Mage and a Dragoon. Firewing OWNd.

Do you still play Zro?

If so, which server. I used to be on Titan. Level 30 RDM/ 15 WAR. Then 24 DRG/ 12 WAR.
Then I started over because I couldn't play as awesome as I used to. So I was on Ifrit Server.

After awhile I had to quit. I think I quit at the wrong time. They had just introduced Chocobo raising...

I played it for a while, but the game was too big for me. I like most MMORPGs but this one had too much story behind it and I didn't really feel I was getting the most out of it.

FYI: I have never played any FF game except XI. Yea...it's to hard to collect any of them, so I guess I missed out on the saga =(

They're not really a saga, they usually have completly different stories, the only major connections are the names of the weapons and the battle system thing

Other things all the games have in common: Someone named Cid, airships, chocobos, cactuar, and the victory song.

It was always a bit different, but it still had a certain beat in everyone of the songs.

I liek final fantasy. unfortunately I havnt beaten one yet though XD

I played FFX and I got to like the 3rd time your face that creaapy guy and I couldnt beat him because I skipped fight ing all the monsters so I was like still level 3. not even the guide could help me and I wasnt in the mood to go back and level so I stopped. I also played FFX-2, but I didnt like the new combat system very much and my parents banned me from video games for a while and I got some new great game (I forgot what it was) so I lost interest and stopped playing. although I do miss seing rikku in a bikini....

I agree with Petroid.  I love FFVII

I just beat Crisis Core and am now moving on to Final Fantasy VII for Psx on my psp.  Final fantasy is prolly the best RPG out there.
