Petroid: We need to learn how to make games before we make the games, so we're still working on it.

Dr. Rincewind: Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking.

Indeed. Many DS games are, sadly, crap, at least graphics-wise. But as long as the game is good, I don't really care.

Also, I don't think I've gotten farther in GS than the time I started this topic. I don't suck or anything, yeah.

OMG I love Golden Sun. It's way more fun than Final Fantasy, and has better grahpics than 95% of Gameboy Advance games and even some DS games.

Hi, I'm Kevin, by the way.

I've always had an idea for a game in my head that doesn't have traditional systems of leveling up. The characters that do all of the "quests" get more abilities. These abilities wouldn't be any better than the original ones per say, but they would allow for more flexibility and you could respond to each situation the best way. This would ensure that anyone who level spams would have to have actual skill to be able to use the benifits of the game. You can't use your abilities if you're an incompetant level-spammer. I kinda got this from the Jak series. It gives you new guns, but you have to be skilled enough to use them.

Did we just quit, or are we taking a "break?"

Ok, time for an update!
It seems that over the course of creating this game, they ran into some trouble and had to use the "Torque" engine. After a month or so of re-vamping stuff, they've come up with "The World," no longer [The World] R:2. This time, it's going to be more original, and not fully utilize the class systems of the previous .Hack games. There is no current release date on this at the moment, and I have no idea what the classes are called, but it sounds like there will be a "Trait System" put in place.
I'll be keeping track of this for anyone interested, and of course, when it comes out, I'll secure a Guild within the game (even though there is currently a forum-war targeting a Guild being incredibly... ummm... evil toward other guilds, players, and such. Sounds like fun.).

Lol thanks we got a convertable pool/ping-pong table when we moved here, too, and now my brother and dad can't live without it.
