The tier refers to how good they are as if they were played to their best ability. Like, Bowser is crappily slow, so all the faster guys will always kill him if they do it right.
But like with Freechack, he can consistently beat me with a LOW tier character, and I have the highest. >_>

Except that Bowser/Ganon can be made to go fast. And once Ganon goes just the least bit faster, he's friggin' unstoppable.

The faster characters can be made to go even faster (Foxtrotting for example), so its pretty much no advantage. A fast character at the same playing level as a slow character will always win (unless they are in the bottom tiers, but their isn't really any fast characters there) this excludes bowser because he is in the last tier so pretty much any character can beat him. Ganon is not unstoppable at all Fox, Marth, and Shiek can own him with blinding speed.

Too bad they can't because they suck.

It all depends on the player. That's that. A low-tier can easily beat someone in the high-tier if the low-tier player is better than the high-tier player.

Or the character. I don't think I've ever fought a Roy vs Roy or Falco vs Falco game with you... The results may be different.

It still comes down to the player. If they're familiar with one character, they probably aren't familiar with another. It isn't the character jumping around and throwing pokeballs at Asian It's the player.

I agree but, a mediocre Fox player could still probably beat a good Bowser/Metwo player. Mabye not for Ganon because he is actually somewhat good for a slow character.

Man... this should be in the debate forum Yes, someone who is mediocre could beat someone who is good, no doubt about it. It's called luck. I don't have it lol

Its not luck its just the fact that Bowser and Mewtwo are insanely slow and the faster characters have a big advantage.

This is completely unrelated, but Nintendo announced what the Final Smash thing is. It's... um... Final Smash, which you can only use once a game after you get the item. Dunno how it works.
By the time Ack sees this, he'll have known already.

Technically, depending on a character's style, if someone has a style that can counter the style of the better player, then the lower-tier character can still beat a high-tier character.
I'm good, and I've been beaten before. L9C is good and he's been beaten before. Also, circumstance and mindset is a big part.

I think you guys are basing stuff way to severely on the tier system.
It truly does depend on the player. You are never even going to come close to playing a character perfectly, so the thing doesn't apply to us at all. You can only play to the best of your ability. And if I play better than Alex (lolno), it doesn't matter if I use Fox or Mewtwo; I'll win.
Just sayin'.
