I was originally going to post a rather large anti-emo rant of mine, but instead I decided to tell you guys that over the next 5 weeks I'm going to try and get emo hair. It definitely won't be permanent, I wouldn't do that. Hopefully it can grow fast enough, I need a good inch and a half to get hair over my eyes.

So when I get back, we definitely should make a Battle Of The Stereotypes video. I'll be the emo.

So am I.

I mean, what?

Can I be the nerd?

Probably. I was thinking I could be standing outside of Hot Topic or something and then a prep kid with Hollister (prolly Haske or Nick) and a bunch of other stereotypes could all congregate there. We should probably fight elsewhere though.

Well, first you'd have to transport yourself to Illinois, in which case you would then be the Dungeons and Dragons nerd who can warp himself with his level 17 warp staff of Osiris.

wait what

What's wrong with emo's anyway? They're looked down upon like us nerds.
They might be a bit different in some people's eyes, but for awhile "emo" didn't exist until it was used as an insult.

In their attempt to be nonconformist, they all look exactly the same, thus conforming to each other almost as much as kids who wear Hollister. In fact, more in a lot of ways. They attempt to be different by copying a style already widely out there. Also their studded belts often don't even go in the beltloops to hold up their pants. WHY?

But some of them are kind of funny.

Do what you will.

Yeah, I do think that's kinda funny. Conforming to nonconformity.

Not to be a ****, but when I looked at the Myspace page for Panic! at the Disco, I honestly and truly thought 2 of the members were women. They're all guys. >_>

However, it's annoying how no matter how much everyone denies it, emo music is more catchy than a lot of ska. For me. Maybe I'm the only one. I dunno.

We're putting an emo song on the Rocket Boots CD, starting eventually.

Yeah, it like... STOPPED GROWING after a while and I got it cut. Now it's growing again. After a while, mine seems to stop at the front. I can tell it gets longer, but for some reason the necessary emo front bang area doesn't grow very fast.

So now I'm definitely not getting it cut.
